🎓 Learn

Groups, periods and blocks, electron shells, and the trends in electronegativity, atomic radius and ionisation energy.

Elements are in order of atomic number (protons). The period (row) is the number of electron shells; for the main groups the group (column) tells you the outer electrons, which is why elements in a group react alike. Every element also has its own page with its Bohr model, protons, neutrons and electron shells.
